Applications Analyst

Job Summary

The full-time Applications Analyst will work remotely, focusing on evaluating and enhancing information systems, performing project management activities, and supporting application software within healthcare settings.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate systems and prepare analyses of alternatives to implement enhancements
• Assist departments in utilizing applications to improve workflow and patient safety
• Conduct project management activities including analysis, design, implementation, and training

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience with clinical assessment, planning, and implementation of clinical information systems
• ITIL course completion within one year of hire
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• High level of expertise using computer tools in a clinical setting
