Applications Analyst

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the full-time Applications Analyst will manage system evaluations, enhancements, and project management activities while collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to improve workflows and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Independently research and implement solutions to enhance existing application systems
• Consult extensively with clinical staff and administrative users to support application usage and workflow improvements
• Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, and training for assigned application software

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience with clinical information systems implementation and project management
• Strong knowledge of hospital clinical and administrative operations and core process flows
• Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related project phases
• ITIL certification to be completed within one year of hire
