Applications Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance workflow and improve patient safety, the full-time Applications Analyst will independently research solutions, manage projects, and support the implementation and education of application software in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate systems and prepare analyses of alternatives to implement enhancements to existing applications
• Consult and communicate extensively with clinical staff and administrative users to assist in the effective use of applications
• Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, and training for assigned software

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Experience with clinical assessment, planning, and project management, including participation in a clinical information systems implementation
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hospital clinical and administrative operations
• ITIL course completion within one year of hire
• High level of expertise using computer tools in a clinical setting
