Job Summary
Supporting the sales team, the full-time salaried Applications Engineer will develop innovative warehouse automation solutions, create technical documentation, and collaborate with various teams, with the option to work remotely or from the Charlotte, NC office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop material flow diagrams, process flow charts, and system layouts using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Prepare equipment and service cost estimates and develop technical proposals, including system requirements and scope of supply
- Apply knowledge of distribution processes and automation technologies to design effective customer solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
- Two or more years of experience in warehouse automation, material handling, or intralogistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel approximately 10-20%, including occasional international travel and training in Europe
