Job Summary
Providing expert technical guidance on product selection and system design, the full-time Applications Engineer with PE License will evaluate customer requirements and develop optimized high-purity water treatment solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate customer inquiries and define the technical and commercial scope of proposed solutions
- Develop conceptual system designs and perform preliminary engineering calculations for equipment sizing and selection
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered alternatives to optimize system performance and customer value
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design
- Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment processes and system hydraulics
- Proficiency with engineering selection and sizing tools, and ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward certification is preferred
