Job Summary
Designing and developing security orchestration and automation solutions, the full-time Applications Security Engineer will create SOAR playbooks, automate security operations, and integrate security technologies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SOAR playbooks and automation workflows
- Develop integrations between the SOAR platform and security technologies using REST APIs, Python, and JSON
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field or equivalent experience
- 2 - 4 years of experience in security automation or orchestration solutions
- Strong Python scripting and development skills
- Experience working with JSON and REST APIs
- Understanding of security operations and incident response workflows
