Applications Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing application security, the full-time Applications Security Engineer II will oversee threat modeling, security assessments, and code reviews while working remotely to ensure compliance with internal security standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensures the implementation and maintenance of application security standards according to industry best practices
• Performs architectural analysis to detect deficiencies in application security and recommends improvements
• Monitors and remediates application security vulnerabilities, including malware and unauthorized access

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent experience
• 2 - 4 years of related experience in application security
• Knowledge of .NET Framework, C++, Java, and Python
• Experience with static and dynamic application scanning tools
• Preferred certifications: Security+, CISSP, CISM, CIAM, or AWS/Azure Security Specialist
