Job Summary
Building and operating the Capabilities Engine, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will create reliable and observable systems for agentic behavior in AI-powered experiences, collaborating across various contact methods and ensuring seamless integration.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Capabilities Engine as a core platform for agentic product behavior
- Design abstractions for capabilities to enhance discoverability and usability across contact methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into shippable technical plans and durable systems
Required qualifications
- Experience shipping production software with strong engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with LLM applications, agentic systems, or applied AI products
- Strong product judgment with the ability to reason from customer needs to technical architecture
- Experience in building platform abstractions and shared services for multiple teams
- Motivated to mentor and grow engineering talent within the team
