Applied AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support an energy solutions provider, the remote Applied AI Engineer will design, build, and ship LLM-powered features and agents, collaborating with product teams to define technical criteria and find high-value AI applications.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with product teams to define and execute technical criteria for AI applications
- Design, build, and ship LLM-powered features from prototype to production, including automating client data onboarding
- Build evaluations and monitoring systems to track quality, cost, and latency, improving systems based on results
Required qualifications
- Mid-to-senior software engineer with experience shipping LLM-based features or agents to production
- Production experience in Python or Node.js/TypeScript
- Experience with AI-native development and scaling shared AI workflows across teams
- Familiarity with AWS or another enterprise cloud platform, including AI services
- Strong English communication skills
