Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and building production applications that utilize AI models for clinical documentation and revenue cycle workflows, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will develop user-centered tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure application reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain AI-powered applications and features that integrate with existing workflows
• Collaborate with AI Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to translate user needs into application requirements
• Define measurable acceptance criteria and conduct evaluations to ensure the quality and reliability of AI applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Three or more years of experience in software engineering or application engineering, focusing on production applications
• Experience building applications using large language models or AI services through APIs
• Working knowledge of healthcare data, including clinical coding and revenue cycle data
• Experience designing user interactions for AI-generated content and integrating AI services into existing applications
