Job Summary
To support the Life Science Markets team, the remote Sr. Applied AI Engineer will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and services while managing the entire implementation process from prototype to production.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement systems that combine ML models, LLMs, and workflow automation to address life sciences market questions
- Build automated tests and maintain rigorous validation of predictive models to ensure application reliability and quality
- Collaborate with clients and domain experts to understand analytical workflows and translate feedback into product priorities
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in shipping applied AI applications from prototype to production
- Practical knowledge of integrating ML models and LLMs into software systems
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including API design and testing
- Experience deploying and operating AI systems, including CI/CD and model monitoring
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, for handling large datasets
