Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Applied AI Product Engineer will design and implement AI-powered features to enhance patient engagement and operational efficiency while working remotely within the continental US.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features for healthcare applications
- Utilize Claude Code and related tools to build, test, and maintain full-stack software products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into user-focused solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 1-4 years of experience in software or product engineering
- Proficiency in using Claude Code for software development, including debugging and feature implementation
- Experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into applications through APIs and generative AI workflows
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and maintainability
