Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Applied AI Product Engineer will design and implement AI-powered features remotely, utilizing Claude Code to develop and maintain functional software products while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features to enhance patient engagement and operational efficiency
- Utilize Claude Code and AI development tools to build, test, and maintain full-stack software products
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create scalable, user-focused solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 1-4 years of experience in software or product engineering
- Proficiency in using Claude Code for software development, including debugging and feature implementation
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript for developing software components
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into applications through APIs or generative AI workflows
- Ability to work independently in a remote Agile environment while navigating ambiguity and collaborating effectively
