AR Follow Up Team Lead

Job Summary

Managing A/R workflow remotely, the full-time AR Follow Up Team Lead will oversee the resolution of unpaid claims, ensure team productivity and accuracy, and serve as a liaison between insurance operations and call center teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the account resolution process and implement proactive measures to prevent escalations
• Ensure follow-up on unresolved claims and appeals to facilitate timely payments from carriers
• Monitor team performance against benchmarks and provide guidance and training as needed

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of A/R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience is required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical billing experience is helpful
• Experience with hospital claims and healthcare receivables preferred
• 2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem solving and research
