AR Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the AR Specialist will investigate claim rejections and denials, manage billing discrepancies, and collaborate with insurance carriers to facilitate the resolution of outstanding claims.

Key responsibilities

• Review and triage Salesforce Cases, directing them to the appropriate teams within the Enterprise
• Follow up on claims rejections and denials to determine causes and next actions
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain status on outstanding claims and process appeals

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare claims follow-up
• Working knowledge of insurance claim processes, EOBs, denial codes, and appeals procedures
• Familiarity with payer portals and/or clearinghouses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce
• Comfort working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
