AR Specialist II

Job Summary

Independently managing insurance and patient follow-up for physician billing, the remote AR Specialist II will focus on denial resolution, payment reconciliation, and financial documentation while leveraging prior billing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze insurance denials and rejections, processing appeals as needed
• Troubleshoot account issues, including demographic discrepancies and authorization concerns
• Process and reconcile refund requests and banking deposits

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of physician billing experience
• Advanced knowledge of insurance denial management
• Experience with EMR navigation and HIPAA compliance
• Experience with Rural Health Clinic or Provider-Based Billing preferred but not required
