Arabic Remote Consecutive Interpreter

Job Summary

To facilitate effective communication, the contracted Arabic Remote Consecutive Interpreter will provide interpretation services during various remote interactions, ensuring clarity and cultural sensitivity while adhering to industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, and conferences
• Listen to speakers in the source language and accurately convey messages in the target language
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while respecting HIPAA and client protocols

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" rating
• Completion of Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments (headset, stable internet, laptop)
