Job Summary
Collaborating with project teams, the full-time Architectural Specification Writer will develop comprehensive project manuals for Architecture and Interior Design projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive project manuals based on information provided by the Management Teams
- Review comments with the Management Team and respond to any questions or concerns
- Mentor junior staff members and serve as a resource for technical questions or opinions
Required qualifications
- Preferred equivalent of a bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design, with at least 5 years focused on writing specifications
- Extensive experience in construction and construction materials
- Proficiency in MasterSpec, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred
- Ability to speak in front of small to large groups is preferred
