Area Director for Health Foundations

Job Summary

To lead business development and client partnerships for domestic health foundations, the full-time Area Director for Business Development and Client Partnerships will manage strategy execution, oversee project portfolios, and enhance client relationships, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead strategy development and execution for domestic health foundations, identifying priority clients and growth opportunities
• Oversee project and proposal portfolios, ensuring client satisfaction and project performance
• Advance business development efforts by building relationships with foundation leaders and managing proposal planning

Required qualifications:

• A master's or doctorate degree in a relevant research or policy discipline, or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of experience in public policy research, evaluation, or related services for foundations or philanthropies
• Significant experience with domestic health foundations, preferably in a consulting or evaluation role
• Proven ability to lead complex business development efforts and manage strategic goals
• Extensive professional network within health foundations and demonstrated success in developing senior-level client relationships
