Job Summary
Supporting faculty in online course management, the part-time ULC Assistant Instructional Aide in Science, Conservation, Mathematics, and the Arts will provide grading and feedback for Universal Learner Courses delivered remotely, with hours varying between 5-20 per week.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and grade assignments while providing substantive feedback to learners
- Assist learners in navigating course challenges and engage in course discussions
- Participate in initial training and calibration sessions as required
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree and one year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Content knowledge or coursework in relevant fields such as Science or Mathematics
- Experience with Canvas or a comparable Learning Management System
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
- Commitment to advancing education equity for underserved communities
