Arizona Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Arizona Licensed Accountant will prepare and enter journal entries, analyze transactions, assist with payroll functions, and ensure compliance with accounting principles, with the option for remote work upon supervisor approval.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and enter standardized journal entries into the General Ledger system to ensure accurate financial transaction recording
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and assist with biweekly payroll production
• Gather and organize documentation for internal and external audits during annual financial reviews

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration
• 0-2 years of professional experience for Accountant I; 2-5 years for Accountant II; 5-8 years for Accountant III
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting functions, including general ledger management and financial statement preparation
• Experience with compliance research and regulatory restrictions in healthcare financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
