Arizona Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Arizona Licensed Accountant will prepare journal entries, analyze and reconcile transactions, assist with payroll functions, and ensure compliance with accounting principles, with the potential for remote work upon successful training.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and enter standardized journal entries into the General Ledger system to ensure accurate financial transaction recording
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger
• Assist with biweekly payroll production and verify timesheet accuracy while monitoring vendor payment vouchers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration
• 0-2 years of professional experience for Accountant I, 2-5 years for Accountant II, and 5-8 years for Accountant III
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting functions, including general ledger management and financial statement preparation
• Experience with compliance research and regulatory monitoring in healthcare financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
