Arizona Licensed Associate Faculty - PMHNP

Job Summary

To support the educational development of students, the part-time Arizona Licensed Associate Faculty - PMHNP will instruct graduate courses in Neuropsychiatric Pharmacology in a fully remote environment, engaging with students to enhance academic success and providing additional support as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver course content and assessments while maintaining an engaged classroom presence to foster student learning and success
• Proactively address student academic issues and provide additional resources such as coaching and tutoring as required
• Attend faculty meetings and maintain current knowledge of instructional standards and course updates to enhance teaching effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, PhD in Nursing, Doctor of Pharmacy, or equivalent medical degree
• Master's degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, including 2 years of current experience
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the state of practice
• National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Familiarity with adult education teaching and learning theory
