Arizona Licensed Authorization Representative

Job Summary

To support a fast-paced remote authorization team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Authorization Representative will obtain and complete insurance authorization requests, verify patient insurance benefits, and document account information to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately complete authorization initiation requests with payers for all service lines and validate existing authorizations
• Provide necessary information regarding authorization numbers and maintain records of all referral activity and authorizations
• Respond to provider orders for tests and procedures, obtaining authorizations and verifying patient demographic information

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or authorizations
• Advanced abilities in common office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high productivity standards with minimal errors
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
