Arizona Licensed Behavioral Health Consultant

Job Summary

Supporting behavioral health members across the continuum of care, the full-time temporary Behavioral Health Utilization Management Clinical Consultant will review clinical information, conduct concurrent reviews, and coordinate care with providers while working remotely in Arizona.

Key responsibilities:

• Review behavioral health clinical information to determine medical necessity and apply clinical guidelines
• Conduct concurrent reviews and discharge planning activities to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Active Arizona LCSW, LPC, LMFT license, or active unrestricted RN license with Behavioral Health experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Behavioral Health Utilization Management
• Experience in reviewing clinical records and making medical necessity determinations
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
