Arizona Licensed Coding Auditor

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with regulatory standards, the part-time Arizona Licensed Coding Auditor will conduct audits of inpatient coding charts, analyze compliance risks, and maintain client relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits of inpatient coding to identify process gaps and organizational risks
• Analyze audit results to identify potential compliance issues and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Provide quality performance feedback through internal coding audits to coding staff and leadership

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• AAPC or AHIMA certification (CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA)
• 3+ years of inpatient facility coding and auditing experience
• 1+ years of experience collaborating with CDI and quality leadership
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
