Arizona Licensed Coding Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the remote Arizona Licensed Coding Manager will oversee coding operations, manage a team, and ensure accurate coding and revenue integrity while driving departmental process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee department's work queues and productivity reports to ensure timely submission of charges
• Develop and implement standardized physician-based coding guidelines and provide education on coding policies
• Manage the offshore coding team and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Required qualifications:

• Current AAPC CPC, AHIMA CCS-P, or equivalent certification in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Health Administration preferred
• 5 years of progressive professional coding experience with extensive knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
• 2 years of supervisory experience required
