Arizona Licensed Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time Arizona Licensed Cybersecurity Director will develop and implement enterprise security strategies, manage security operations, and ensure compliance while working in a hybrid or onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and high-value decision-making
• Oversee security operations, incident response, and resilience programs, including the management of external security partners
• Lead governance, risk, and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and security automation
• Knowledge of cloud security, CI/CD processes, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, NIST CSF)
