Arizona Licensed Cybersecurity Director

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of security practices, the full-time Arizona Licensed Cybersecurity Director will develop and implement enterprise security strategies, manage security operations, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance, with a focus on automation and AI integration, while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, emphasizing secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead security operations, incident response, and resilience programs, ensuring effective threat management and compliance
• Oversee identity and access governance, modernizing privileged access management and ensuring role-based access controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including experience with MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management systems
• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, particularly PCI DSS and telecom regulations
