Arizona Licensed DME Collections Representative

Job Summary

To support revenue cycle operations, the full-time Arizona Licensed DME Collections Representative will manage patient billing and collection activities remotely, ensuring timely reimbursement and resolving outstanding issues with insurance payers.

Key responsibilities:

• Process payments, adjustments, claims, and denials accurately and in a timely manner
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including appeals and corrections as necessary
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to educate and address payment issues effectively

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Patient Financial Services, specifically in collections and accounts receivable in healthcare
• Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or Waystar is preferred
• Strong knowledge of common office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
