Arizona Licensed Financial Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Bone Marrow Transplant clinical team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Financial Specialist will manage insurance verification, authorization processes, and financial counseling for transplant patients in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and verify insurance benefits for transplant services and obtain necessary authorizations
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure compliance with payer requirements and monitor patient accounts
• Provide financial counseling and advocacy to patients and families regarding insurance and billing issues

Required qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in social work, healthcare administration, or finance, with 3 years of relevant experience; or 5 years of experience without a degree
• Knowledge of medical terminology and common insurance and payer types
• Experience in hospital Patient Registration/Financial Services settings
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
