Arizona Licensed Nurse Practitioner Faculty
Job Summary
To support a growing nursing program, the part-time virtual Arizona Licensed Nurse Practitioner Faculty will instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Adult and Geriatric nursing, engage with students to promote academic success, and oversee clinical experiences while maintaining a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver course content and assessments while ensuring timely access to materials for students
- Maintain an engaged classroom presence and proactively address student inquiries and academic issues
- Oversee student clinical/practicum experiences and perform additional duties such as coaching and tutoring
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing; or a Doctorate in any area with a Master's in Nursing; or a Master's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years managing Adult and Geriatric populations
- Active, unencumbered Arizona RN license and Arizona APRN certification
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with Adult and Geriatric practice experience
- Current experience as a Nurse Practitioner within the last 5 years
