Arizona Licensed Nursing Faculty
Job Summary
To support the academic success of nursing students, the part-time virtual Associate Faculty in Nursing Research will instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses, engage with students to enhance learning, and perform various classroom-related activities in accordance with university standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver course content and assessments while maintaining high-quality instruction and timely availability of materials
- Foster a supportive learning environment by addressing student inquiries and proactively managing academic issues
- Engage in additional duties such as coaching, tutoring, and overseeing student clinical experiences as required by the course
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing, or a Doctorate in any area with a Master's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical nursing practice setting as a Nurse Practitioner, with at least 2 years of current experience
- Active unencumbered Registered Arizona Nurse or Multistate (RN) license and Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification
- National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Demonstrated scholarship engagement meeting university requirements
