Job Summary
To support a growing nursing program, the part-time Arizona Licensed Nursing Faculty will develop and teach online courses, evaluate student performance, and facilitate learning experiences while upholding the college's core values.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education curriculum and course objectives
- Teach and assess students in online learning environments, ensuring effective learner engagement
- Participate in academic advisement and collaborate with faculty to support student success and retention
Required qualifications
- Graduate degree required; if not in nursing, must have a Bachelor's in nursing and a relevant graduate degree
- Minimum of three years' experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or compact nurse licensure
- Preferred Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in nursing specialty
- Maintains professional competence through ongoing education and nursing practice activities
