Arizona Licensed Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To support patient access in a remote capacity, the full-time Arizona Licensed Patient Access Representative will pre-register patients, verify insurance information, and provide financial counseling while ensuring a positive patient experience across multiple acute facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient demographics and accurately input information into the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide financial counseling and discuss patient liability, including assisting with payment plans and financial assistance applications
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations while obtaining necessary documentation and authorizations from insurance providers

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum of one year of experience in patient access, financial services, or the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required for certain clinical settings
