Job Summary
To shape the next generation of nurses, the full-time Online Didactic Faculty in Pediatrics will teach undergraduate courses, develop engaging instructional materials, and mentor students in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach online undergraduate courses and create engaging activities that stimulate classroom discussions
- Develop and implement instructional materials that reflect current teaching methodologies and advancements in Pediatrics
- Mentor students and assist with curriculum design while participating in university committees to enhance the educational mission
Required qualifications
- Master's degree (MSN) required; Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred
- Two years of direct Pediatrics patient care experience as an RN in a clinical setting
- Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Arizona or a compact state
- Experience teaching in a nursing program, particularly online
- Evidence of professional involvement, such as memberships, presentations, or publications
