Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy team, the full-time Arizona Licensed Pharmacy Technician will enter and process prescriptions accurately while communicating with customers, working remotely after training on a Wednesday to Saturday schedule from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
Key responsibilities:
- Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system accurately and in a timely manner
- Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing and follow up on refills with doctors' offices
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by responding courteously to customer inquiries and ensuring all prescriptions are processed during the shift
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Arizona Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB)
- 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
