Job Summary
Supporting various VA Medical Centers, the full-time Remote Pharmacy Technician will process prescription requests, manage inbound calls, and provide customer service to Veterans while working remotely from within 50 miles of Prescott, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Process and submit new prescription and medication renewal requests using approved VA protocols
- Answer calls from Veterans and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication inquiries
- Document interactions in CPRS and maintain compliance with VA electronic health record systems
Required qualifications
- US Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an Academic Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- Active national certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
