Arizona Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Supporting various VA Medical Centers, the full-time Remote Pharmacy Technician will process prescription requests, answer inquiries from Veterans and healthcare professionals, and maintain compliance with VA systems while working remotely from within 50 miles of Phoenix, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Process and submit new prescription and medication renewal requests using approved VA protocols
- Answer telephone calls from Veterans and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication questions
- Document patient and staff interactions in CPRS and other VA systems as required
Required qualifications
- US Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an Academic Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- Active national certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) with current status
- Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
