Job Summary
Supporting centralized pharmacy operations, the full-time Arizona Licensed Pharmacy Technician will engage members through proactive outreach, assist with medication adherence, and collaborate with pharmacists to improve clinical outcomes, while working remotely with one day onsite in Tempe, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Pulls fill histories and claims, and builds draft medication lists for PharmD review
- Conducts proactive adherence outreach for members falling below 80% PDC, including refill synchronization and mail-order conversions
- Prepares and tracks prior authorizations, appeals paperwork, and manufacturer patient assistance applications
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT)
- 2+ years of retail, PBM, and/or managed care pharmacy experience
