Arizona Licensed Primary Therapist
Job Summary
To support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, the full-time Arizona Licensed Primary Therapist will provide individual therapy sessions, facilitate recovery education, and assist clients in developing personalized recovery plans, all in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide recovery education and individual therapy sessions to clients at various stages of their recovery journey
- Assist clients in identifying personal goals and developing strategies to overcome barriers to recovery
- Facilitate linkages to community resources and promote self-advocacy among recovering individuals
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, addictions, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Licensed in Arizona as LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LASAC, or LISAC
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to provide Level 1 fingerprint clearance card
- Demonstrated commitment to the recovery community and knowledge of the drug and alcohol treatment system
