Job Summary
As the founding Principal, the full-time Arizona Licensed Principal will build and lead the inaugural team for a new online charter high school, ensuring compliance and student success while preparing for the school's opening in July 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Hire and lead the founding leadership team and teachers in preparation for the school's launch
- Oversee the implementation of training, enrollment, and policies to ensure readiness for the first day of school
- Manage the school budget and report quarterly to the Governing Board on financial performance and compliance
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years in education, with at least 3 years in school leadership roles
- Knowledge of Arizona academic standards and statewide assessment requirements
- Documented record of improving student outcomes under leadership
- Valid Arizona teaching or administrator certificate, or equivalent professional certification
