Job Summary

To support the financial health of clients, the fully remote Arizona Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist will manage the timely processing of accounts receivable transactions, optimize revenue streams, and maintain relationships with healthcare providers while addressing billing and collection issues.

Key responsibilities

• Build partnerships with transactional teams to enhance account performance and support claim submissions
• Review and resolve denied claims, ensuring appropriate coding and timely follow-up on unpaid claims
• Document claim actions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address registration and insurance errors

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Physician Billing department with a focus on denials, appeals, and insurance collections
• Experience with Arizona Medicaid and a deep understanding of the end-to-end claim cycle
• Ability to apply contract language and comprehend claims denial appeal logic
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with HIPAA compliance
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and customer service skills
