Arizona Licensed Reverse Mortgage Underwriter
Job Summary
To accurately evaluate and underwrite HECM reverse mortgage loan files, the full-time Arizona Licensed Reverse Mortgage Underwriter will work remotely, ensuring compliance with company policies and FHA guidelines while communicating loan decisions effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate risk in accordance with HECM FHA guidelines and company policies
- Review loan files, including title and appraisal reports, to set terms for approval or identify reasons for rejection
- Communicate loan decisions to sales channels and management, while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in mortgage loan underwriting
- Reverse mortgage experience is a plus
- FHA Direct Endorsement is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but not required
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products
