Arizona Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare providers, the full-time Arizona Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician will manage prescription renewal requests, assist patients with medication inquiries, and document interactions while working remotely and being available every day of the week between 6AM and 7PM.
Key responsibilities:
- Process prescription renewal requests received via electronic messages, faxes, or phone calls
- Maintain full knowledge of clinical techniques and software applications, documenting according to departmental standards
- Respond to patient inquiries and prioritize tasks based on workflow changes
Required qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician licensure in Arizona with the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card
- Two or more years of ambulatory pharmacy experience or demonstrated knowledge of ambulatory pharmacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
