Arizona Licensed Special Education Instructor
Job Summary
To support K-12 students with learning differences, the part-time Arizona Licensed Special Education Instructor will provide virtual specially designed instruction, manage student IEPs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while working remotely during traditional school hours.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver legally compliant, specially designed instruction and compensatory education services to students with IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans targeting critical skill areas such as reading, math, and executive functioning
- Manage the creation, monitoring, and compliance of student IEPs while collaborating with the IEP team
Required qualifications
- Active Arizona educator license/certification with Moderate/Severe Disabilities, PreK-12 Endorsement
- Experience in providing specially designed instruction in school settings
- Exceptional collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams
- Proficiency in conducting virtual services using meeting platforms and instructional technology
- Availability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during traditional school hours
