Arizona Licensed Special Education Teacher

Job Summary

Dedicated to enhancing student experiences, the full-time Arizona Licensed Special Education Teacher will work remotely to implement IEPs and 504 plans, communicate with students and families, and collaborate with the Exceptional Student Services team to ensure compliance and support for diverse learners.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate weekly with students and parents through various channels to provide support and updates
• Write and enforce Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans to meet student needs
• Collaborate with other educators and participate in professional development to enhance student services

Required qualifications

• Arizona Teacher Certification in Special Education
• Current valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Special Education teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of verified full-time teaching experience in Special Education is advantageous
