Arizona Licensed Staff Pharmacist
Job Summary
To support a growing closed-door pharmacy, the full-time Arizona Licensed Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide proactive patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe and efficient medication dispensing in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and safety
- Provide proactive outbound patient counseling and handle inbound clinical inquiries
- Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and reduce dispensing delays
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active Pharmacy License in good standing with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy
- Strong command of the English language; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail
- Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and verification platforms
