Job Summary
Supporting faculty in grading and course management for Universal Learner Courses (ULC) remotely, the part-time Arizona Licensed ULC Instructional Aide in Humanities will provide feedback and assist learners with assignments while monitoring course activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and grade assignments, providing timely feedback to learners on in-class activities
- Assist learners in navigating challenges within the Universal Learner Course and engage in discussion activities
- Participate in initial training and calibration sessions as required by the Learning Enterprise team
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to grade in one or more of the following areas: History, Political Science, Global Studies, Criminal Justice, Social Science, Religious Studies, Social Work, Communications, Education, or English
- Completion of ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or equivalent coursework
- Commitment to advancing education equity for scholars in underserved communities
- Experience with Canvas or a comparable Learning Management System is preferred
