Arizona Licensed Virtual Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing IT infrastructure, the full-time Arizona Licensed Virtual Infrastructure Engineer will research, develop, and document virtual desktop infrastructure software while providing guidance and mentoring to junior engineers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Research, develop, test, and document Cisco UCS and VMware technologies to support virtual infrastructure and desktop resources
- Coach and oversee junior engineers, manage incident distribution, and coordinate major incident responses
- Build positive relationships with customers and team members while ensuring service excellence and timely issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline, or 4 years of work-related experience
- 6 years of experience with Cisco UCS Infrastructure and VMware technologies
- 8 years of experience in Networking, Server Management (Windows & UNIX), and Storage management
- VMware Data Center Virtualization certification
- Preferred: Cisco Unified Computing System certification
